Applied Engineering & Technical Management Safety Committee

The Applied Engineering & Technical Management Safety Committee addresses safety concerns, procedures, and promotes a safe work environment for UNI employees consistent with state and federal guidelines.

Facilities Management Safety Committee

The Facilities Safety Committee addresses safety concerns, procedures, and promotes a safe work environment for UNI employees consistent with state and federal guidelines.

Institutional Biosafety Committee 

Serves as the institutional biosafety committee in all matters involving recombinant DNA studies, as required by the National Institute of Health (NIH) Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant DNA Molecules.  The IBC is required to oversee any use of human, animal or plant pathogens or biological toxins and to set policies that comply with federal, state, and local regulations and recommendations. 

Radiation Safety Committee

Is responsible for ensuring that radioactive materials and radiation-producing devices are used safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as institute policies.

University Housing and Dining (UHD) Safety Committee

The UHD Safety Committee addresses safety concerns, procedures, and promotes a safe work environment for UNI employees consistent with state and federal guidelines.

University Safety Committee

The University Safety Committee assists with the development and promotion of a healthy and safe physical environment for the university community and visitors to our facilities and grounds.
